You will receive your permit application documents via email through DocuSign.

Permits are generally processed within 5–7 business days from the date of submittal.

NEW PANEL INSTALLATION

OUR PERMIT PROCESS:

WHAT TO EXPECT ON INSTALLATION DAY

Prior to your installation date, a Caribbean Electric representative will provide you with a technician arrival time frame.

Presence is not required during the installation unless otherwise specified.

The installation process typically takes 6–9 hours to complete.

Please be aware that power will be turned off for approximately 4–8 hours during the installation.

Minor dust or debris may be generated. We recommend closing doors and/or covering personal belongings to protect them.

Ensure that the work area is clear of personal items or obstructions before our team arrives.

Minimal drywall, cutting, and patching is included as part of the service.

Painting and sanding are not included.

INSTALLATION DAY GUIDELINES:

INSPECTION PROCESS

Personal Check
A post-dated check for the full contract amount is required at the time of the permit application signing. This check will be held by Caribbean Electric and deposited upon completion of your new panel installation.
We also accept Zelle, Venmo, cash, or money orders as alternative payment methods.

Credit Card
If paying by credit card, the card information must be provided at the time of the permit application signing. The card will be securely held on file until your new panel installation is complete.
Upon completion, the credit card will be charged the full agreed upon contract amount, plus a 4% convenience fee applied to all credit card transactions.

A Caribbean Electric representative will notify you of your scheduled inspection date within 1–3 weeks following installation.

On the day of the inspection, you are not required to be present; however, Caribbean Electric must have prior instructions to access the unit. Please contact our office at 954-371-5822 to provide access details.

Inspection times are scheduled between 8:30 AM and 12:00 PM.

City of Deerfield Beach Notice: If the inspector is unable to access your unit on the scheduled inspection date, a $75 no-show inspection fee may be assessed.
